Airmail covers around WW2
I am putting together a census of airmail covers surrounding WW2 between the years of 1939-1947. I would appreciate you looking at your airmail covers during this timeframe and let me know if you have any of the following:
1) 25c, 43c, 53c, 61c, or 71c franked covers before 21-Jun-1939
2) 46c, 56c, 67c, or 77c franked covers before 15-Dec-1939
3) 90c, $1.00, $1.80 or $1.90 franked covers before 30-Jun-1942
4) 70c, 80c, $1.40 or $1.50 franked covers before 25-May-1943
5) 25c, 35c, 50c, 60c, 75c, 85c, $100 or $1.10 franked covers before 5-Mar-1947
6) Any local 12c airmail covers.
7) Any airmail postcards.
8) Any covers between 26-Jun-1940 and 30-Jun-1942, whether airmail or not...
If so, please post a scan, with the reverse if there are transit or arrival backstamps. Or, if you have any higher value or strange frankings, please post them as well and I will try to sort them out. There are a lot of philatelic covers, as well as old rates being accepted after rate changes.
