Cockrill Cover Collection

I just woke up and checked eBay and was surprised to see a large number of Cockrill covers up for auction.  They are still on Cockrill's album pages.  Starting bids are high, some as high as $5000!  They are being sold by george_alevizos.  My real surprise is seeing these on eBay.  I usually see this kind of stuff at the larger auction houses.  It will be interesting to see if he can get those high prices for them.

I checked out those covers. I wonder how George got them ? His prices on Liberia are always high. Most of his lots on ebay on stamps are just too high for anyone to pay. But i'm sure those Cockrill covers will sell, but for what price ?

Apparently the covers weren't Ex-Cockrill after all. Perhaps that was the "error in the listings" and the reason for ending them.
